Hi

I found this information very useful. Do you think the prices are reasonably accurate given the passage of time.

Which mitsubishi did you buy?

Regards

@Simcha,

We are currently in the process of importing a 2004 Sienna (i.e., the ship arrived last week and we are working with an expediter guy who is doing everything to get it released from meches). I'll post how it goes, bli neder.

@Simcha,

Since I don't work in the auto industry, I can't comment one way or the other about importing a car. You can try posting a question here - http://www.tapuz.co.il/Forums2008/SiteForum/goveng/2098/forum

Hi. I did aliya a few months ago and am interested in importing a Toyota Sienna from Canada (or the US). Is this financially feasable or will it end up costing me more than I bargained for? Can you give me some advice about if and how to go about this? Thanks

Hi Yaakov.

You have the answer to your question in your comment. When making this list I decided to focus specifically on minivan type vehicles (6-7 passenger) so that it doesn't get out of hand. If there's someone who works in the auto industry here or someone else who wants to put together different lists, I'll be happy to host them here.
During my research, the only car that came with an option of more than 7 seats was the Rodius (first one listed). Since we bought the Grandis, I can't comment one way or another about any other vehicle. The purpose of this list was to give people a starting point when looking into these types of vehicles.
Is the Jumpy a 6-7 passenger vehicle?

Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Hi there. Thanks for sharing your research. Did you ever come across Toyota, Hyndai (H-1), or Ford Tourneo? I know your site is dedicated to 6-7 passenger vehicles. Did you come across any 8 passenger vehicles in your research that you can recommend? Also, why didn't you look at the Jumpy I see it is popular here. I am not interested in European for myself, but I was just curious. Thanks

Check out www.kamaze.co.il for internet service options.
As far as I know, you can get phone service from some of the ISPs - such as Netvision (aka 013, Barak) or 012Smile. HOT also offers a phone line and not too long ago became an ISP as well so they may have a bundle offering everything.
Orange (the cell phone company), offers a bundle that includes internet service (ISP part only, you need to use Bezeq for your infrastructure or "tashtit") & a phone line.

Keep in mind that the phone line offered by these companies is dependent on your internet service, meaning no internet = no phone line. The exception being HOT's phone service (& a regular Bezeq phone line).
